Request for Proposal (RFP) Community Innovations to Improve Maternal Health in Hawaiʻi
We invite proposals for innovative, community-driven projects that aim to decrease severe maternal morbidity and maternal mortality (SMM/MM) or their determinants through a holistic lens. Prevention of SMM/MM is understood to extend across the life course, including but not limited to: upstream determinants of health including social and financial support, mental health, and substance use prevention in girls and young women; aspects of prenatal care; medical and social services; and postpartum care and health in the ‘4th trimester.’ Projects should address the funding priorities identified below.

Individual Award Amounts: $25,000-$150,000
Award Period: 1 to 3 years (depending on project scope), starting by September 29, 2025.
