This report covers the efforts and outcomes of the Early Childhood Action Strategy (ECAS) network and partners during the first half of 2022. Over the past six months, the ECAS network has continued to confront the effects of the pandemic on families, and has continued to work to build stronger, statewide systems of support for young children and their families. These efforts have focused on protecting the child care industry and strengthening early learning opportunities, reducing the risks of family violence, supporting the physical and mental health and safety of mothers, infants and young children, and supporting young children’s optimal development and school readiness.
