Catch up on a summary of efforts over the summer and fall
A great deal has happened since our last blog post.
The Extended Team formed with the purpose to inform and guide the process and to build a deep understanding that can ensure ongoing relevance and application of the provisional map. The Extended Team includes representatives from governmental and nonprofit organizations working to strengthen the systems of support for young children. That team met bi-weekly through the summer and fall to upgrade the map, populate it with clarifying stories and examples, and to explore its implications for our shared work.
This fall, a series of stakeholder meetings have occurred to socialize the map and continue to strengthen and clarify the picture it tells. This round of effort, in turn, informed an in-person workshop in October that focused on Finding Leverage points in the ecosystem defining the Early Childhood Action Strategy network. Learn more about those leverage points in our next blog post.
