Christina (Tina) Lau
Early Childhood Continuums Lead
Christina (Tina) Lau joined ECAS as the Early Childhood Continuums Lead in September 2025. She previously served 17 years as a Health Development Officer with the U.S. Agency for International Development, leading teams and implementing complex health programming across Asia, Africa, and the Pacific. Her accomplishments include: developing strategic partnerships with partner governments, donors, and private sector; managing programs to combat infectious diseases, improve maternal and child health outcomes and bolster health systems; and addressing non-medical factors that affect an individual's health, including economic stability, equitable access to health and education services, and social protection. Prior to working with USAID, Tina supported HIV programs across Africa and conducted research on HIV and autoimmune diseases.
Tina holds a BS in Agricultural and Biological Engineering from Cornell University and a Master in Public in Epidemiology from the Boston University School of Public Health. She was born and raised in Honolulu, where she lives with her husband and two keiki.
