Share, deepen and connect at the Spring ANM
After three months of listening to the network, seeing patterns take shape, and building draft loops, we were able to bring 46 causal feedback loops to the Spring ANM in April 2023.
Together, we experienced a World Café style event of three conversations; each with different people, and each building on the last. This was an opportunity to tell stories, build connections and deepen our understanding of the critical patterns, for better or worse, that we experience in early childhood.
Here are some reflections from the ECAS Backbone Team:
I heard folks connecting some (not all) loops to their own work/ experience
I heard participants say "do I feel validated or depressed?"
I heard a couple people share immediate changes they will be making to shift patterns in their own setting
I heard some folks struggling with complexity of language and concepts
I heard desire to see next steps, and willingness to add depth to loops that felt oversimplified
I saw some folks get very excited about the big picture, systems level issues being identified
